Internal Recycling Programs

 Acme's employees are committed to our own Green Team initiaties by supporting internal recycling programs. 

• An extensive cardboard, paper, aluminum can and plastic beverage bottle recycling program has resulted in significant savings in our own refuse costs all while protecting the environment. 
• Unusable wooden pallets are processed and used as a fuel source for power companies or mulch. 
• Acme's fleet of trucks uses bio-degradeable fuel.
• Trucks are routed to avoid wasted mileage and fuel.
• Old tires are recycled and used for mulch and playgound turf.  
• Our machinery maintenance department uses eco-friendly shop supplies for brake cleaning, penetrating oils and rust inhibiters.   
• Acme's spent oil recycling program reuses the oils as fuel source.
